What Fuels Yours??

“Broken” starts moving!!

After many long days and countless meetings Broken, a horror feature from director James Brown and produced by Fuel the Fear’s very own Patrick Henry is getting off the ground. As with any big venture, it can not happen without the help and support of many people. We are not here to to say give us your money. We are hear to ask you to give what you can or want to. If that is not a possibility then please pass the link on and help get the word out.  Here is James to tell you a little bit about the project,  and the link to support us and pass on. More information after video.

Now you have an idea of what the film is about in a nut shell. That video was designed to give you enough information to get you interested in supporting it into the future. Here are a few more details that may persuade you further.

In the video James mentions that Broken will have theatrical distribution. This is NOT just a bold claim, we have letter of intent from a chain of theaters stating that they will screen us for 30 days!! That may not sound like a lot but most independent films never get a theatrical release which makes us special for everyone involved.  Also, stated if we are filling the seats the run will be longer.

For all of us horror fans, actress Devanny Pinn has signed on to play the lead. Click on her name for a link to IMDB for her credits. She is a horror scream queen and on her way to being a horror goddess.  For more information on her visit her website.

Like we have been saying we want horror to come back as a genre and as such we must do our part as well. We will be on set of the next Drew Daywalt project. Drew has done many shorts and is really flying up the ranks of the horror genre.  While not allowed to discuss what the short is about, I can tell you that we are working to bring horror to you!! Most of you who will who Drew without looking at the above link will know him from this short, Bedfellows.

Bedfellows pushed Drew Daywalt and his then company FEWDIO into the public eye of horror and he has never looked back. What he has done has started another company, Daywalt Fear Factory. Drew has been a part of the Fuel the Fear Celebration of Horror both of the previous years and has already expressed interest in joining us again for the 3rd Celebration.

The Downtime and the Future of Fuel the Fear

First off as you can the look of Fuel the Fear has changed dramatically. Over the course of our 3 year adventure our website format has been altered a few times mostly only with minor cosmetic changes. With this most recent change we have changed the format of Fuel the Fear. We have decided to focus more on horror news and reviews for now. Our main goal will be presenting the Annual Celebration of Horror for all of the horror fans and filmmakers out there.

We thank you for your continued support and if you would like to contribute news or reviews please feel free, we welcome your input. As time continues the look and feel of  Fuel the Fear will continue to evolve but we have no desire to leave behind what makes us special now. We are just horror fans trying to let other horror fans and filmmakers see where horror can go.

We recently co-presented the 2011 Dead Flesh Feast in Hollywood, CA. We welcomed Fred Vogel and Corey Feldman along with many other names in the genre. The panels and information that was given out by the great working minds in the genre was mind boggling.  We screened Song of the Shattered, a very interesting story driven feature. I highly recommend checking it out if you get a chance. Also, The Perfect House had a presence at the event and while they were not showing their film that evening they were awesome. They participated in the panel and this movie sounds like a true effort in bringing horror into a new age.

Once again thanks for your support and be sure to check us out on Facebook and Twitter for all the updates!!
